Perhaps in another frame of reference The Thief would warrant a five star review. I did not expect to like it, since it was required reading, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. This book will provide you insight and encouragement as you walk with me on my journey in overcoming obstacles. I wish this book were longer, or part of a much larger series. I never go anywhere without it. Grey has only four main characters, three antagonist and of course hundreds of cattlemen known as Riders of the Purple Sage.
