I did this toward the end which really helped as vast amounts of the information are sometimes lost. There is a huge backstory going in the book about the high cost of college education in the USA and some apparent usury going on in student loan fees. This is a good thing, because though my daughter is an independent reader, I still enjoy reading aloud or listening to her read at bedtimes. The pilot's homophobia and light misogyny are grating at times.
